1. Introduction
Welcome to Credtent. By registering your name, demographics, and content with us, you are joining a community committed to ethical use of AI training data. Our platform is designed to empower content creators to designate the usage rights of their content for AI training purposes.
2. Content Registration Options
- Do Not Train (DNT): You may register your content under the DNT category, ensuring it will not be used for AI training.
- Credtent Content Corpus (CCC): Registering your content here allows it to be used in our training corpus, with compensation rates set by Credtent.
- Premium Content Corpus (PCC): For content registered in the PCC, you retain the authority to set your own compensation rates.
3. User Obligations
As a user of Credtent, you warrant that:
- All information provided during registration is accurate and up-to-date.
- You hold the necessary rights to designate the content for AI training purposes.
- Do Not Train: By registering with Credtent with a Do Not Train (DNT) designation, you are granting Credtent exclusive rights to act on your behalf to opt out of the AI training corpus of AI tools, including but not limited to Language Models of any size. This right includes the right for Credtent to represent you as an auditor of AI tools to ensure that they are not using your name or nicknames to produce content with similar qualities and to restrict use of content you register on Credtent.
- Licensed for Credtent Content Corpus: By registering with Credtent with Licensed designation, you are granting Credtent exclusive rights to act on your behalf to license your work to AI tools including but not limited to Language Models of any size. For this license, you will be paid standard Credtent fees based on the scale of your content, the type of content, and the licensing revenue brought in for your work and the corpus in which it is contained. Credtent expects to optimize this formula as it grows, meaning that this payment should increase over time. However, as the market grows, Credtent cannot promise a specific value for your content nor the scale of its use. Credtent’s bylaws require that we optimize to pay creators once costs are recovered and limit the profits to Credtent’s shareholders. We believe in fair compensation for all contributors.
- You may withdraw your license with notice of 120 days. At that point, Credtent will withdraw your content from its corpus but companies that previously licensed your content will have the right to train on it until you personally opt out of their model.
- Premium Licensed: By registering with Credtent with Licensed designation, you are granting Credtent exclusive rights to act on your behalf to license your work to AI tools including but not limited to Language Models of any size. For this license, you will be paid pricing based on rates you set. Payments will be based on the scale of your content, the type of content, and the licensing revenue brought in for your work.
- You may withdraw your license with notice of 120 days. At that point, Credtent will withdraw your content from its corpus but companies that previously licensed your content will have the right to train on it until you personally opt out of their model.
